Artist Market

Local artists showcase their work in our artists' market. With demonstrations throughout the day, you'll learn more about these traditional crafts and have the opportunity to buy their products.

About Some of our Artists and Craftsmen:

  • Champlain Valley Apiaries Champlain Valley Apiaries has been producing high-quality honey since 1931. Come see their demonstration hive and learn about the honey-making process. Don't forget to take home some of their delicious honey!

  • Bill Tulp is an educator, illustrator/portrait artist. He will be offering the opportunity to have a portrait drawn in costume (or not) to faire goers. Portraits in pencil while you sit. Sittings will be twenty to thirty minutes. He will be taking commissions for watercolor or pencil portraits in medieval settings or settings of your choice from photographs. 

  • Dana Karuza- Tulp is a felt artist who has taught classes locally for a number of years for school groups, afterschool programs, homeschool groups and art centers.  At the festival she will have many materials on hand to try your hand at needle felting. A community piece or small personal projects will be created during festival hours.


Medieval Denistry/Oral Care: Ever wonder what medieval people did for oral care? Neal Wallce Dental of Hanover, NH shares what people in the middle ages valued in oral health and what problems they faced in a 10x20 exhibit on Medieval Dentistry.
